Celebrity Babies This Week!

Out and about for the holidays, new celebrity mamas have been showing off their cute bundles of joy this week! Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott showed off the first pictures of their precious new family addition, baby Hattie. Born October 10th, Hattie is adorable cuddled up in Tori’s arms. Joining big brother Liam and big sister Stella, as well as Dean’s son Jack from his previous marriage, we could not be happier for the beautiful family.

Also spotted out this week was Jessica Alba with her baby Haven, just four months old. Haven joined big sister Honor earlier this year, and the adorable family has only gotten cuter. Jessica and Haven were out purchasing a Christmas tree, and Haven was bundled up in a furry vest. Jessica wore a flowing knit sweater that would go perfectly with a great pair of skinny jeans and one’s favorite winter boots. So precious!

Alyssa Milano was another mom spotted with her baby this week. Alyssa posted a picture of herself and her adorable three month old son Milo in their garden. They look so cute all cuddled up together! When speaking to Best of Babes, Alyssa spoke of the importance of breastfeeding to her, stating, “I think the thing I like best about breastfeeding is the closeness I feel to Milo and knowing that he’s getting the best of me.” She also explained how it is hard for her to breastfeed in public, due to the paparazzi. “I wish I could breastfeed in public without feeling as though a picture would show up on TMZ,” she says. “… When we go out I bring a bottle of expressed milk because sadly, I’m just not comfortable feeding him in public.”

Pregnant Celibrities and Their Maternity Clothes

This week has been an exciting one for many pregnant celebrity mamas, and they are eager to share their joy with the rest of the world. The gorgeous and glowing Jessica Simpson appeared on the Rachel Ray Show yesterday, and was very happy to discuss her pregnancy. When she felt her baby move for the first time, she was overcome with emotion. “I felt [the baby] move the other day for the first time and I had big crocodile tears. It was the coolest thing ever. It did a flip or something. I was like, ‘There it went. It’s there, it’s really there.’” We can feel her joyful emotions, and Jessica said she has been queen of the waterworks during her pregnancy, stating that she has been crying “at the drop of a hat”. She adds that, “Even a great soufflé would make me cry.” Wearing a fitted animal print dress and black tights, Jessica looked ready absolutely stunning.

Another star sharing about her pregnancy this week is the beautiful Jennifer Garner. Gracing the cover of InStyle magazine, Jennifer spoke to them about some of the difficulties pregnancy can bring. She says that she had nausea during her first trimester, and some strange food cravings. She stated, “My kids had never seen Doritos before. They would say, ‘Mom, where did you get that orange chip? I really want that’”. We love her adorable family and know the next baby will be just as sweet. Jennifer also spoke of her pregnancy weight gain. “I wish I was one of those cute pregnant girls who wear skinny jeans throughout their pregnancies. But I just gain weight.” We appreciate her candidness, and think that she looks gorgeous in everything she wears! We look forward to the new babies that will be arriving soon!

Always sweet and down to earth, the beautiful Jennifer Garner has been radiating happiness during her third pregnancy. Due the end of February, she and hottie husband Ben Affleck are very excited for the arrival of their newest addition. With two daughters already in the family, Jennifer told Ellen DeGeneres that they do not know the sex of the baby but that she would not mind another girl, stating, “”Three girls is a great way to grow up. I’m one of three girls and my little sister is awesome.” We cannot wait to see whether it is a boy or a girl!

Throughout her pregnancy, Jennifer’s fashion choices have remained true to her relaxed and down to earth style. Just yesterday, Jennifer was spotted running errands around town in jeans, a loose white blouse and a structured blazer. The blazer completes this outfit perfectly, as it creates a flattering silhouette and pairs nicely with the looser top. Congratulations to the gorgeous Kourtney Kardashian and long-term boyfriend Scott Disick on the announcement on their pregnancy! This will be the excited couple’s second child, and will be joining big brother Mason, who is almost two. Kourtney’s younger sister Khloe praised the expectant mother, stating that she is “the greatest mom in the world”!

In anticipation of the baby, we want to take a look back at the best of Kourtney’s outfits from her first pregnancy. One look we loved was the hot white cocktail dress she wore to her sister Kim’s birthday. In the third trimester of her pregnancy, Kourtney truly looked amazing! It showed off her baby bump beautifully, and had a fresh and fun vibe. For a similar look, La Saree Dress by Maternal America is a must have. The long-sleeves are elegant and the ruching on the side is incredibly flattering.

Another look of Kourtney’s that we loved was the short purple dress she wore for a night out. The chiffon like material is light and airy, ensuring comfort. Animal Prints Maternity Clothes Are All The Rage

Cheetah, leopard, zebra…we love the animal print trend this season! Stars have been spotted wearing a variety of animal print clothing, making a trendy and stylish statement. To add animal print into one’s wardrobe, one must do it strategically so as not to create an overwhelming look. Choose one accent piece in a leopard or cheetah print, and wear simpler colors with it. For instance, pairing leopard print flats with skinny jeans and a white tank instantly creates a fresh outfit. If one chooses a top with an animal print, pair it with jeans and simple shoes. This creates a beautiful and stylish balance.

Rachel Zoe, stylist to the stars, rocked the animal print look during her pregnancy earlier this year by pairing leopard print booties with an all-black outfit. The booties added color and pizazz while the monochromatic black was very classic. Just this past week, Beyonce paired a leopard print scarf with skinny jeans, a white tank, and a structured red blazer. The printed scarf pops beautifully against the white and red, without being overpowering. For the taping of a television show appearance in mid-October, the expecting Hilary Duff wore a loose fitting leopard print blouse with tight leather pants. The looseness of the top balanced beautifully with the pants, and the color combination was perfect.

If one loves the leopard print trend, there are several great options. With Beyoncé’s due date approaching (now just a month and a half away!) we could not be happier for the singer and handsome hubby Jay-Z! Throughout her pregnancy, Beyoncé’s maternity style has always been right on trend and very true to her own design aesthetic. As a designer herself, she knows what clothes look best on her body and what trends are the hottest, showing everyone that fashion does not stop with pregnancy.

For a day in New York City this past week, Beyoncé paired a white tank with a fitted red blazer, skinny jeans, rugged boots, and a trendy animal print scarf. This outfit works great for maternity, as the fitted blazer creates a flattering silhouette and balances the skinny jeans perfectly. We love her addition of an animal print scarf, which is one of this season’s hottest trends. The Elly B Long Straight Leg Jean from Olian are very similar to Beyoncé’s, and look great paired with Bella Band Essential’s Everyday Cami in white.

Sporting another fierce look this week, Beyoncé rocked the streets of the Big Apple in a motorcycle jacket and bright blue tribal print leggings. Tribal print is a huge trend this season, and pairing it with a black top showed it just the right amount. The tightness of the leggings is balanced beautifully by the motorcycle jacket, and shows off Beyoncé’s growing bump perfectly. With the holidays just around the corner, stars have been stepping out for many events and we are loving the clothing we see! This past week, some of our favorite mommies to be rocked the red carpets in gorgeous maternity clothing, showing off their burgeoning baby bumps.

At the Footwear News Achievement Awards, the beautiful Jessica Simpson received recognition for her own fabulous footwear designs. Although her footwear collection is gorgeous, it was her stunning outfit that everyone was commenting on. She looked beautiful deep crimson wrap dress. The wrap style accented her curves perfectly, accentuating her hourglass figure and showing off her baby bump. We loved it! For a dress that creates a similar shape, try Maternal America’s Front Tie Keyhole Dress. To dress it up, follow Hilary’s lead with skinny jeans and heels, but for casual daytime usage wear it with dark bootcut jeans and cute white sneakers.
