  • Kourtney Kardashian Announces Her Pregnancy

Congratulations to the gorgeous Kourtney Kardashian and long-term boyfriend Scott Disick on the announcement on their pregnancy! This will be the excited couple’s second child, and will be joining big brother Mason, who is almost two. Kourtney’s younger sister Khloe praised the expectant mother, stating that she is “the greatest mom in the world”!

In anticipation of the baby, we want to take a look back at the best of Kourtney’s outfits from her first pregnancy. One look we loved was the hot white cocktail dress she wore to her sister Kim’s birthday. In the third trimester of her pregnancy, Kourtney truly looked amazing! It showed off her baby bump beautifully, and had a fresh and fun vibe. For a similar look, La Saree Dress by Maternal America is a must have. The long-sleeves are elegant and the ruching on the side is incredibly flattering.

Another look of Kourtney’s that we loved was the short purple dress she wore for a night out. The chiffon like material is light and airy, ensuring comfort. The V-neck really elongates the body for a longer and leaner look. Paired with black heels and a statement necklace, Kourtney looked gorgeous.

Finally, to the 2009 Emmy’s, Kourtney showed off her very pregnant belly in a stunning dark purple gown. The sweetheart neckline created a gorgeous frame for her face, while the thin straps added support and comfort. The empire waist is the perfect design, as it accentuated the smallest part of her body while showing off her beautiful curves. Classic and sexy yet not overwhelming, Kourtney was truly the belle of the ball.

With her natural sense of style, we know the working mom and face of the Belly Bandit will have just as amazing maternity outfits for her second pregnancy.

Congratulations to Kourtney, Scott, and soon to be big brother Mason!

  • Animal Prints Maternity Clothes Are All The Rage

Cheetah, leopard, zebra…we love the animal print trend this season! Stars have been spotted wearing a variety of animal print clothing, making a trendy and stylish statement. To add animal print into one’s wardrobe, one must do it strategically so as not to create an overwhelming look. Choose one accent piece in a leopard or cheetah print, and wear simpler colors with it. For instance, pairing leopard print flats with skinny jeans and a white tank instantly creates a fresh outfit. If one chooses a top with an animal print, pair it with jeans and simple shoes. This creates a beautiful and stylish balance.

Rachel Zoe, stylist to the stars, rocked the animal print look during her pregnancy earlier this year by pairing leopard print booties with an all-black outfit. The booties added color and pizazz while the monochromatic black was very classic. Just this past week, Beyonce paired a leopard print scarf with skinny jeans, a white tank, and a structured red blazer. The printed scarf pops beautifully against the white and red, without being overpowering. For the taping of a television show appearance in mid-October, the expecting Hilary Duff wore a loose fitting leopard print blouse with tight leather pants. The looseness of the top balanced beautifully with the pants, and the color combination was perfect.

If one loves the leopard print trend, there are several great options. Olian’s ¾ Sleeve Animal Print Maternity Dress is a flattering holiday option, and looks fabulous paired with opaque black tights and black heels. If one just wants a hint of the trend, a great pair of animal print ballet flats or a zebra printed purse will do the trick. Animal print is a great way to pep up one’s maternity style!

  • Jessica Simpson Is Pregnant! -- "It's true – I'm going to be a mummy!”

Congratulations to the lovely Jessica Simpson and her tall and sexy fiancé Eric Johnson on the recent announcement of their pregnancy! Rumors had been circulating for quite some time regarding whether or not Jessica was pregnant, when the singer and business-woman tweeted on October 31st, “It's true – I'm going to be a mummy!” Jessica has often spoken of her desire to be a mother, and we could not be happier that her dream is coming true.

As an incredibly successful fashion designer, Jessica’s pregnancy means that she gets to show off her great fashion sense in a whole new arena---maternity clothing! For a recent evening out, she wore a loose-fitting animal print top with sexy jeans shorts and great black heels. The shorts work great, since she paired them with a looser top to balance the proportion. Animal print is very popular this year, and Olian’s ¾ Length Sleeve Animal Print Maternity Dress is a great way to wear it. For a recent shopping day in New York City, Jessica continued the animal print trend with a great structured black and leopard print leather jacket, pairing it with a fitted black tank, black leggings, and knee-high boots. This look is the perfect combination between comfort and style, as the stretchy top and leggings are ultra-comfy and the jacket creates a beautiful and flattering silhouette. Try Bella Band Essential’s Everyday Cami and Japanese Weekend’s Over the Belly Maternity Leggings for an equally comfy look. A great cropped motorcycle jacket adds edge and a flattering shape.

For a more formal event, the launch of her tween clothing line, Jessica wanted to maintain a high level of comfort while look chic and fashionable. She hit her mark, sporting a long-sleeve black tunic, black tights, and dressing it up with fabulous jewelry. Adding statement earrings, a great ring, or a bold necklace to any outfit will instantly dress it up and take it to the next level, while still allowing one to maintain one’s comfort.

We are so happy for the beautiful couple, and are eagerly awaiting the birth of their child!

  • Pregnant Beyonce' Shining Bright

When Beyoncé and Jay-Z announced their pregnancy last month, we were so excited for the incredible couple! We were also incredibly excited for the gorgeous maternity fashion we knew Beyoncé would wear, and she has not disappointed. From red-carpet dresses to running errands around town, her maternity fashion is stylish, eye-catching, and oh-so gorgeous.

Just a few weeks ago, at the launch for her new fragrance, Beyoncé sparkled and shined in a short, blue sparkling tunic and sequined blazer. Pairing it with black heels, she accented her gorgeous legs. We love that she chose a short dress to show off her legs but stayed more covered on top. Balancing an outfit this way is sexy and classy. Maternal America’s Navy Shift Dress has the same loose feel. Pair it with a fitted blazer and sparkling gold jewelry for the perfect date-night outfit.

Looking radiant in a more casual look, Beyonce rocked a printed white tee and black skinny jeans at the U.S. Open Men’s Final Match. We love the black, white, and gold palette she chose, and the comfort which the soft tee and stretchy jeans provide. For an equally stylish yet comfy look, pair Maternal America’s Belly Support Leggings in black with Olian’s Off The Shoulder Tee. The loose fitting tee ruches underneath the belly for comfort and has a glam feel with its off-the-shoulder cut. Pair it with cute sneakers or ballet flats and a funky statement piece of jewelry for a true Beyoncé look.

Beyonce’s maternity wardrobe stays true to her style and personality, while ensuring her comfort throughout her pregnancy. She recently spoke to E! News of the joys of pregnancy, stating “[Pregnancy] is the most incredible gift anyone can have. I'm very excited. I'm probably the happiest I've ever been." Congrats, Beyoncé and Jay-Z!

  • Kate Hudson and Ivanka Trump Post Partum Fashion

With the recent rush of celebrity baby births, post pregnancy style has been on full display. Dressing one’s after baby body can seem a bit daunting, but there are so many cute and comfy options to choose from. Kate Hudson, who gave birth to second son Bing on July 9th, was spotted wearing a gorgeous floral sundress just a few weeks later. The flowing fabric allowed room for her post baby weight, while the wrap highlighted the smallest part of her body. We loved the happy floral print which represented her joyful attitude and also helped to camouflage the baby weight. We loved that she stayed true to her Bohemian chic style, while choosing something that was both comfortable and practical.

Ivanka Trump, who gave birth to daughter Arabella on July 17, made her post-pregnancy debut one month later in a gorgeous navy blue wrap dress. The deep V-neck of the dress is an excellent choice as it elongates the body, which in turn creates a slimming look. We love the bold blue color choice, as well as the flowing fabric. Ivanka’s dress stayed true to her classic style, and truly represented her. For a similar look, Olian’s Kora V-Neck Maternity/Nursing Dress provides the same great shape and easy nursing access.

Back in February, Miranda Kerr stepped out for the first time after giving birth a month earlier to baby Flynn. For her post-baby debut, Miranda chose a gorgeous patterned maxi-dress with a tailored boyfriend blazer. This is an excellent choice, as the maxi dress is comfortable and allows plenty of room while the structure of the blazer creates a finished and polished look. This is a perfect look for fall and the transition from hot to cooler weather.

These are all great post-pregnancy looks as they provide comfort and camouflage post baby weight while providing structure and style!

  • Pregnant Tina Fey Is Ready to Pop!!

The 40 year old comedian, Tina Fey, and husband, Jeff Richmond, are expecting their second child any day now. It seems we just can’t get enough of Tina Fey with her Palin impersonations to her award winning show, 30 Rock. However, we will now have to wait till January for the new season to begin. Fey will be playing "mom" to her newborn baby and 5 yr old daughter, Alice.

And the sex of the baby? Fey predicted "It's going to be a werewolf" to the host, Craig Fergusen, on the Late Show.

Fey also has a new book out, Bossypants, which she began promoting back in April on an Oprah Winfrey appearance. This is when we first learned of the pregnancy and she was already 5 months pregnant. In her memoir, Tina openly agonized about her decision to have a second child in the midst of a demanding career and as she neared the big 4-0. It seemed her overwhelming desire to be a mom once again won out over all the other demands in her life. However Fey has fended off rumors that 30 Rock is coming to an end. So we can hope and expect to see Fey as a busy pregnant and working mom in the months ahead.

Fey certainly knows how to ROCK maternity wear. She has been spotted wearing anything from a tailored, Ann Taylor nautical outfit to a black dress showing off her burgeoning baby bump. One thing for certain, Fey has had fun keeping herself in fashion.

Any day now, the little werewolf should be making an entrance. I know we all can't wait!!

  • Natalie Portman Pregnant!

Congratulations to the gorgeous Natalie Portman and her fiancé Benjamin Millepied, a world renowned dancer and choreographer, on their pregnancy! A style icon in her on right, Natalie has always had a beautifully effortless look about her, choosing clothing that represents her free spirit while staying perfectly stylish. This fabulous fashion sense is sure to continue throughout her pregnancy and we cannot wait to see what she will wear!

With awards season just getting started and so many movies out, Natalie is sure to have lots of opportunities to wow us with her gorgeous maternity style. So far we have seen her looking beautiful at the People’s Choice Awards this past week in a pretty blue knee-length dress. Being in the public eye and only in the beginning stages of her pregnancy, she chose a looser dress with added ruffles to slightly camouflage her baby bump. The soft scoop neck and gently flowing fabric paired with the solid black line detailing adds a great contrast. At this weekend’s showing of Black Swan, Natalie once again wowed us in a stunning knee-length, black and tan patterned blocked dress. The long sleeves balancing out the shortness of the dress is the perfect amount of skin and the gold jeweled accents around the neck and wrists is eye-catching.

From the premier of her upcoming movie No Strings Attached to the plethora of award shows which are just getting started, Natalie will be in need of many more maternity dresses. As her baby bump continues to grow, we would love to see her accent it in some beautiful empire waist dresses. For the one of her movie premiers the Embellished Dress in navy would be a perfect choice. With an elastic empire waist and soft stretch fabric, she will be comfortable all night long. The gorgeous jeweled neckline on this dress truly makes a statement and is sure to look stunning in front of all the cameras. Classy yet unique, its deep navy color would look beautiful with Natalie’s coloring. For a big red carpet event, Maternal America’s Gold Band Maxi Dress is a gorgeous option. This Grecian inspired dress, with gold banding around the bust and empire waist, is pure elegance. Paired with black or gold heels and a great bracelet, Natalie would surely look incredible. Congratulations again to the happy couple!

  • Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are expecting twins

This from the Los Angeles Times.

Mariah Carey is expecting twins, her husband confirmed on his "Rollin With Nick Cannon" radio show Thursday morning. But apparently the story was already out.

"She shared with the president and the first lady that we are having twins," Cannon said. "I haven't even told my wife I was doing this, so I am probably going to get yelled at for not getting permission."

The missus apparently couldn't keep mum when talking to to the first couple at the Sunday taping of "Christmas in Washington." Hey, when the first lady asks you a question, you tell her first, right?

The special, hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, airs Friday on TNT. Carey has said she's expecting "in the spring."

  • Great Fall Nursing Tops

With Fall here, now is the perfect time to make a few choice additions to your maternity and nursing wardrobe before you go into "desperation shopping" mode. The fun way to shop is to take your time to thumb through some racks of fashion and try on a few things with a fruit smoothie in hand. You can also shop by your keyboard from an online maternity store with a good return policy (in case you need to exchange for size or fit) and find a few select items to take you through the coming months in style.

Pregnancy is no different than non-pregnancy in terms of finding a great pair of jeans to take you through the cooler months, only this time it's maternity jeans. Denim in a few different washes as well as your standard back leggings and/or stretch pants (or jersey pants if you prefer) will take you a long ways on the bottom half. In terms of the upper body, make sure you invest in a few stylish essentials such as cap sleeves that can be layered, ¾ sleeves which can take you through Spring and a few choice cardigans and long sleeve tops.

Fashionable maternity tops that double as nursing tops are a great way to get a lot more mileage from your investment. Japanese Weekend has an excellent selection of "During and After" tops than can take you from the office to the town in the evening. Check out Japanese Weekend's D&A Sash Tie Nursing top in Teal, a new color for this season. This easy to fit and easy to wear jersey top works great for all venues with a clean stylish look that can be dressed up or down.

If you are looking for a little flair, then take a look at Olian's ¾ sleeve V-neck print top with front tie strings. This fun blue, grey and black colored pattern is a signature Olian print. This stylish print maternity top is also made for easy nursing access. You can dress it up with a skirt or office pants, or opt for a more casual hip look with denim.

If you are in the market for a super comfortable long sleeve maternity and nursing top, take a look at Maternal America's long sleeve cotton maternity/nursing top. This pretty top is make with cross over nursing access and built in faux cami layer for discretion. The empire waist provides a flattering fit while the long sleeves and gentle ruching at the wrist add unique detail.

Japanese Weekend's cap sleeve cross over maternity/nursing top is a great year-round selection that you can layer under a jacket or wear alone. This versatile top is super flattering and stretchy for pregnancy and beyond. It is designed to hug your curves and stretch across your belly for a fitted look when you are pregnant. Hidden nursing access allows full discretion. This cap sleeve in an array of solid colors is great with denim or dressed up with a skirt.

If you are looking for a more casual look in your maternity or nursing top and prefer a top with built in bust support, then Bravado's Nursing Bra Tank is an excellent choice. This tank top fits and supports like a bra with an extra layer for a stylish look and excellent fit. This tank's front ruching is flattering across the bust and it also has adjustable straps for a perfect fit. Fitted by bra size and made extra long to cover both a pregnant and postpartum belly. This top is excellent for warm weather with shorts or a skirt and layered in cooler weather. This nursing bra tank offers superior non-constricting support that you can even wear for exercise.
